Menigos Resort, Glyfada

Glyfada is situated on the west coast of Corfu. The descent to the beach offers fine views of the bay backed by towering slopes. Glyfada has developed as a tourist resort by virtue of its huge sandy beach. Three kilometres away is the village of Pelekas, famous for its sunsets.

Glyfada beach is justifiably one of the most famous in Greece. An immense beach of soft sand and for the most part sloping safely and gradually to an intensely blue Ionian Sea.

Glyfada offers excellent facilities for water sport fans, golfers and walkers alike. Water sports in Glyfada include waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, jet skis and canoeing. Volleyball is popular on Glyfada beach and golfers can enjoy the nearby golf course.

Glyfada is a trendy popular resort but small enough to have a traditional feel with atmospheric tavernas and bars. Glyfada is lively enough but nothing too raucous.

Facilities include: satellite TV; air-conditioning; washing machines; microwaves; gardens with sunbeds; large verandahs; balconies with sea views. All accommodation is cleaned two to three times a week.
